GloBrix Smart Lighting

Lighting that changes with the mood. Add two scripts to any modifiable prim and control its color, light and textures from an easy HUD.

  • Complete visual control: color, light, projector light, glow and textures, for a whole object or one face
  • Animations: Ombre fades, Strobe flicks, Blink flashes and scrolling textures
  • Moods: save your favorite looks and choose who can switch them
  • Scheduling: set Moods to change on a timer through the day

Try it free with the 10-minute demo on your own objects, or visit the Gloseum to play with GloBrix-lit objects in person.

  • One controller, unlimited boards: every board opens, pauses and closes together
  • Reliable refunds: outbid guests always get their L$ back, with a notice and a teleport link to defend their bid
  • Payouts your way: Entrant Keeps All, a house Split, or Charity

Commissions

Have an idea? Let's build it.

Got an idea, or an old problem nobody ever solved? Commissions are open for venues, event hosts, store owners and creators.

Event systems

Fresh ideas and tools that get guests involved, so your events feel lively and people keep coming back.

Custom HUDs

Fully working HUDs that are easy to use, for controlling your builds, events or products.

Custom scripts

Together, shape your idea into something that works, or replace the old system that keeps causing headaches with one that doesn't.

Web companions

Tools from outside Second Life that make your in-world experience better, like Google Sheets that keep a live record and live textures that put fresh text and images on your boards. More on the way.

  1. Consult

It starts with your goals: what you're dreaming up and who it's for. Together you'll scope it out and find ways around Second Life's limits, so the result feels smooth and engaging.

  2. Prototype

Regular check-ins keep you in the loop while it's designed and built. Working prototypes let you test it in-world and adjust as you go, so the final version is exactly what you pictured.

  3. Test

Everything is tested thoroughly for the realities of Second Life, from lag and busy regions to script limits, before your guests ever see it.

  4. Launch

Help getting set up and running on day one, then ongoing support afterwards: answers when you have questions, tune-ups when something needs attention, and updates as your needs grow.

The GlowLabs Mascot

Meet Professor Prism

Long before she became a professor, Prism was a little girl with a very serious problem:

She was convinced rainbows were following her.

Every sunny afternoon, she'd chase them through the garden, under trees, around flower beds, and once straight into the neighbor's hedge.

Then, one day, she caught one.

Nobody believed her, of course. But inside the little jar she brought home was something that shimmered in seven colors.

Professor Prism has been studying light ever since.

She still wears the same rainbow glasses she had that day. She says they help her see things other people can't.

These days, she investigates the mysteries of glow, color, light, and sparkle.

Why does light split into rainbows?
Do stars twinkle because they're shy?
Where do sparkles go when you blink?

Professor Prism has theories.
She has experiments.
She has a lot of glitter.

The answers are still under investigation.
